Nature's Natural Energy Bar

Good morning everyone.  If everything goes according to plan, I'll be out of the state of Texas at this time two weeks from now, driving west on I-10.  I haven't been sleeping well lately, still trying to shift my sleep pattern over to some sort of normalcy after working from 8:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m. for most of my shifts at work during the past 11 months.  At this moment right now, I have slept about 10 of the last 16 hours, sleeping for 5 hours twice, while being awake for 5 hours in-between that...  Of course all of this gets wrecked anyway if I can make the twenty-hour drive to Las Vegas straight through as I plan to, again...  The fantasy baseball team is still in 10th place, and is still creeping up on other teams.  Yesterday my pitchers somehow managed to combine for 18 2/3 innings without giving up a single run...  Only one victory came out of that, but that helped lead my team to a 2.17 ERA for the 3-day week.  My mock baseball betting record is now 4-6.  I have just discovered that none of the betting lines have been posted for today's contests, so I won't be able to give you today's "lock"...  :P  There are 27 players still remaining in this year's Main Event at the World Series of Poker, and it appears that 2 of those players are women.  I would love to see a female player reach the final nine - I think that it would be great for the game.  We are going to have a completely different final nine once again as none of the remaining names seem familiar to me from the past.  Tonight is the night when they play down from 27 to 9 players, and then we wait until the 28th of October for them to start up again.  I just smiled as I realized that I will be able to do a brand new, fresh, personal poker post in just over two weeks...  ;)  I know that must disappoint my regular readers since the games at MSN are SO RIVETING...  I took a load of stuff that won't be going to the desert with me to my sister's family down in San Antonio over the weekend.  My nephew received a set of golf clubs that was my father's, then my younger brother's, then mine (believe me when I say that I am easily, and I mean EASILY the worst golfer in that group of players)...  Anyway, my soon-to-be 12 year-old nephew ended up thanking me for the set of clubs like 3 times in 5 minutes...  :)  So I'm at the grocery store a few days ago, and I don't want to say which store it was, but it rhymes with HEB...  Anyway, this girl is behind me in the checkout line, and the reason that I know this is because she's on her phone, talking loud enough so that I can EASILY hear her conversation...  "Yeah...  I just saw him...  He's here at the store...  Should I say hi to him?"  :)  Just smiling because I don't think that I've ever asked anyone for advice on whether or not I should say 'hi' to someone...  It's time for another round of 'who gets paid to do this marketing, and why am I not getting some of that money?'...  I bought a bunch of bananas at the store this week.  As I sat down for breakfast before typing up this post, I noticed the banana in the bunch that had the sticker on it.  The sticker notified me that bananas are "Nature's Natural Energy Bar..."  I don't know about you, but I ALWAYS feel energized after eating a banana???  I wanted to say thanks again for stopping by to read my drivel - it looks like 'Bikini Hill' is going to surpass the 10,000 pageview mark sometime during the week.  I hope that you have a great day and I'll see you again on Wednesday!
